Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a technical Lead to drive program execution for airborne electrical products. You will oversee cost, schedule, and technical oversight across the product lifecycle, coordinating with a complex engineering team and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 8+ years of experience in electrical subsystems, circuit design, and hardware integration. A Master’s in STEM or MBA is a plus; relocation is available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with electrical subsystems and/or circuit card assembly: development, integration, test, and production support.
• Knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design or hardware integration/test.
• Experience in design, test and sell-off of military systems.
• Experience with Earned Value Management methodologies.
• Technical writing and/or formal presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and assess ROI.
• Lead teams, align on roles, and address gaps for program success.
• Conduct trade studies to choose best solutions considering cost, schedule, and performance.
• Regularly report task status to leadership across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with program teams to integrate cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
