Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving patient transport with FAA-compliant operations. You will plan flights, manage weight and fuel, and coordinate with medical teams for each mission.

The role demands 2,500 hours helicopter time, current FAA medical, and appropriate rotor-wing certificates. Wadesboro-based position includes a 7x7 schedule, sign-on bonus, housing, PTO, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• FAA certificates required: Commercial with Instrument Rating or ATP; appropriate category and class ratings.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher) is required.
• Total flight time: 2,500 hours in a helicopter; 100 cross-country hours, 25 at night; 75 instrument hours; 100 night hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, policies, and mission protocols.
• Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight, balance, and fuel needs.
• Collaborate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
