Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot to provide rapid, life-saving helicopter transport. You will join a team delivering critical care, maintaining safety, compliance with FAA regulations, and seamless mission execution.

Ideal candidates have 2,500 total helicopter hours, instrument time, and 135.293 check ride readiness within 60 days of hire. Wadesboro, NC base and 42 weekly hours reflect a demanding, mission-driven schedule.

Qualifications

• FAA certifications required: Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or ATP in appropriate category/class
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher)
• Flight time: helicopter 2,500 hours total; 100 hours cross-country – 25 hours at night; 75 instrument hours; 100 night hours

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, policies and mission protocols
• Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel requirements
• Collaborate with medical staff, ground crew and dispatch for mission execution
• Respond promptly to emergency callouts and maintain readiness
• Maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs per company and FAA requirements
• Represent the company professionally to patients, families and the public
