Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is hiring an Air Ambulance Pilot to provide fast, safe patient transport and support for emergency medical services.

You will fly under FAA regulations, plan missions, monitor weather and weight/balance, and coordinate with medical teams and dispatch. Qualifications include a Commercial PILOT with Instrument Rating or ATP, 2,500 helicopter hours, and a current FAA medical certificate.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilots Certificate with Instrument Rating or ATP is required.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• 2,500 hours total helicopter flight time required; 100 hours cross-country; 25 hours at night.
• 100 hours of cross-country flight – 25 hours at night; 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night flight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, policies, and mission protocols.
• Plan and execute flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
• Collaborate with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission execution.
• Respond quickly to emergency calls and maintain readiness.
• Maintain accurate flight and maintenance logs per FAA and company rules.
• Represent Intermountain Health professionally with patients and public.
