Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport for patients, ensuring crew and patient safety on every flight. You will combine advanced aviation skills with clinical collaboration to support critical EMS missions.

Key qualifications include FAA Commercial with Instrument Rating or ATP, 2,500 helicopter hours, and strong leadership and situational awareness. Base: Wadesboro, NC; schedule: 42 hours/week. Sign-on bonus and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• FAA Certifications required: Commercial Pilot with Instrument Rating or ATP; appropriate category and class ratings.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• Flight experience: 2,500 hrs total helicopter time; 100 hrs cross-country (25 hrs night); 75 instrument hrs; 100 hrs unaided night flight.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regs and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight & balance, and fuel needs.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
