Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport for patients. You will combine aviation skill with clinical teamwork to ensure safe, timely missions from Wadesboro Air Base.

The role requires FAA certifications, substantial helicopter flight time, and the ability to operate under demanding EMS protocols. A $12,000 sign-on bonus and a 7x7 schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• 2,500 hours of total flight time in a helicopter.
• 100 hours cross-country (25 hours at night).
• 75 actual or simulated instrument hours.
• 100 hours of unaided night flight time.
• Pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel needs.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission execution.
• Responds to emergency callouts, maintaining readiness at all times.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs per company and FAA requirements.
• Represents the company professionally with patients, families, and the public.
