Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to provide rapid, life-saving helicopter transport for patients. The role requires extensive flight experience, adherence to FAA rules, and coordinated teamwork with medical staff and dispatch.

The position includes a 7x7 schedule, housing assistance, and a $12,000 sign-on bonus. The base is Wadesboro, NC, with a 42-hour weekly expectation and a competitive salary range dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or ATP; appropriate category and class ratings.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights, accounting for weather, weight & balance, and fuel requirements.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless mission execution.
• Responds to emergency callouts, maintaining readiness at all times.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs as required by company and FAA.
• Represents the company professionally when interacting with patients, families, and the public.
