Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot for Wadesboro, NC, to provide rapid life-saving transport and join a skilled flight team. You will operate rotor-wing aircraft under FAA rules, plan missions, and coordinate with medical teams and dispatch for mission success.

The role offers a competitive base salary with a $12,000 sign-on bonus, a 7x7 schedule, PTO, 401(k) match, and housing assistance. Must hold current FAA pilot certificates and meet medical requirements.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating required.
• ATP certificate preferred or as applicable to rotor wing operations.
• 2,500 hrs total helicopter time and 100 hrs cross-country with 25 at night.
• FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights, considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
• Responds promptly to emergency callouts, maintaining readiness.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs as required by company and FAA.
• Represents Intermountain Health professionally with patients, families, and public.
