Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Air Ambulance Pilot (Rotor Wing PIC) based in North Carolina to deliver rapid patient transport. You will fly under FAA regulations, plan flights with weather and fuel considerations, and coordinate with medical teams for seamless missions.

The role requires 2,500 helicopter hours, FAA instrument experience, and a current medical certificate. A 7x7 schedule, sign-on bonus, and housing support are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and appropriate ratings
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher)
• 2,500 hours total helicopter flight time; 100 cross-country hours; 25 night hours; 75 instrument hours; 100 unaided night hours

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, policies and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight, balance, and fuel.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission execution.
• Responds promptly to emergency calls and maintains readiness.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs as required by FAA and company.
• Represents the company professionally when interacting with patients and families.
