Job summary

Celonis is seeking a Lead Applied Value Engineer in New York to drive AI-enabled solutions for strategic customers in the High Tech vertical. You will lead discovery, demos, and end-to-end engagements, translating business goals into measurable ROI with our Process Intelligence platform.

You will prototype, implement, and guide adoption while collaborating with executive stakeholders to expand Celonis’ footprint across global retail and consumer ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading end-to-end technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements in CPG, retail, or e-commerce.
• Deep understanding of High Tech processes in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Trade Promotion, Category Management, or Loss Prevention.
• Strong Python and ML libraries knowledge with data engineering experience handling large POS, transactional, and inventory data.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills for C-level executives and leaders; capable of live demos.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in CS, business analytics, engineering, mathematics, or related field preferred.

• AI Discovery & Solutioning: translate business requirements into innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Pre- and Post-Sales Execution: manage full customer lifecycle and value realization.
• Hackathons & Prototyping: build rapid prototypes using AI technologies.
• Agentic Process Transformation: enable autonomous AI agents for ROI on deployments.
• Proof Projects: architect scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG and enterprise data integration.
• Domain & Industry Leadership: serve as technical SME for High Tech sector; scale domain expertise across Celonis.
