Job summary

Cloudera in Austin, TX seeks a Business Value Manager to drive quantified business outcomes from AI platforms and strategic deals. You will partner with account teams, translate complex data/AI capabilities into economic value, and shape investment decisions and deal structures for major enterprise customers.

In this role, you will build CFO-grade business cases, align cross-functional teams, and support multi-year engagements that advance AI-native operating models and platform consolidation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in value engineering, strategy consulting, or equivalent customer-facing roles.
• Experience driving customer engagements and cross-functional collaboration.
• Structured reasoning with quantitative analysis.
• Ability to distill complex technical and financial concepts into clear insights.
• Strong financial acumen, including DCF, NPV, IRR; link tech decisions to P&L.
• Influence enterprise deal cycles and shape strategy and commercial outcomes.
• Understanding of modern data platforms, AI/ML workloads, data pipelines and deployment.
• Quantitatively reason about evolving cost drivers in AI and data environments.
• Experience with LLMs and automation frameworks for analysis.
• Executive presence with CIO/CFO/CDO and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with data and AI software/infrastructure, including Spark/Kafka and cloud deployments.
