Job summary

Crowe is seeking an AI Tech Lead to design, build, and scale AI agents that support Audit services. You will work hands‑on with Python, maintain agent tooling, and guide a growing team of engineers in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

You will collaborate with Audit practitioners to translate workflows into agent capabilities, ensure production readiness with observability, and drive roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, maintenance, and improvement of AI agents and agent‑assisted workflows.
• Work as forward deployed engineer paired with Audit SME to design the agent from workflow
• Write, review, test, and maintain substantial Python codebases and agent resources
• Manage project scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication for the agents you own
• Design and develop agents using a Skills‑based architecture for reusable capabilities
• Act as technical authority for the agent layer with architects and engineers
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for production agents
• Establish reusable engineering patterns and development practices
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Lead a small team of forward deployed engineers
• Mentor engineers and promote collaboration across teams
• Define ROI and KPIs; communicate value to stakeholders
