Job summary

Ramp is hiring a Customer Activation Manager for AI Spend Management and Router. You will guide customers through technical activation, connect developer work with Finance needs, and drive adoption from initial setup to repeatable workflows.

You will read API documentation, coordinate with internal teams, and help customers understand usage, costs, and governance. This is an early product motion with opportunity to shape the implementation playbook.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in technical customer success, account management, or related roles.
• Experience owning technical launches from handoff to verified first use and sustained adoption.
• Ability to read API docs and reason through auth, permissions, and integration issues.
• Ability to communicate with both developers and Finance leaders, aligning launch plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery and implementation planning, including provider connections and prerequisites.
• Read API documentation and investigate setup issues, credentials, and permissions.
• Explain AI usage, costs, and governance to diverse stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering on deeper Router integrations or code-level work.
• Guide customers from a working connection to a useful usage-review or governance workflow.
• Capture recurring questions to improve guidance and playbooks.
