Job summary

Zendesk is redefining CX with autonomous AI and extensible platforms. The Senior Sales Engineer will own technical delivery of customized product demonstrations, build complex API integrations, and craft production-ready POCs that showcase Zendesk’s AI capabilities.

The role requires hands-on coding, strong communication with customers, and a passion for solving tough technical problems across modern web stacks. Travel ~30% and a hybrid US-based schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in a technical client-facing role or hands-on software development.
• Proficiency with modern web tech and REST/SOAP APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and customized demos.
• Build and maintain API integrations across client stacks.
• Lead deep technical validations and architecture reviews.
• Scale internal tooling and demo accelerators.
• Stay current with AI tech, LLMs, and agent frameworks.
