Job summary

Arthur Grand Technologies is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (Gen AI) for hybrid work in New York City. You will bridge engineering, product, and customer success to design, deploy AI-powered solutions and own implementations from design to production.

The role requires 8–10 years of software engineering, strong React frontend and Python/Node backend skills, and hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, REST APIs, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js for building modern frontend applications.
• Strong backend development experience using Python and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model lifecycle, inference, and real-world deployment considerations.
• Experience working with AI-powered systems, such as LLMs, ML APIs, or data-driven applications.
• Proven experience in system integration, including REST APIs, webhooks, and external services.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous, customer-facing scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with version control and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy customer-facing applications using React (frontend) and Python (backend).
• Design systems focusing on forward compatibility, scalability, and maintainability.
• Lead end-to-end integration and implementation of AI-driven products into customer systems and workflows.
• Customize and extend core platforms to meet customer-specific use cases while maintaining long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science, and Platform Engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure reliability of deployed solutions.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers, helping them adopt best practices for AI-enabled solutions.
• Contribute to internal tooling, reusable components, and technical documentation.
• Write, test, and maintain code in accordance with organizational standards and project requirements.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
