Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program, reporting to the CISO. This leader shapes strategy, governance, risk management, and secure adoption of AI technologies across the organization.

The role builds and leads a team of AI security architects and engineers, partners with Enterprise Architecture, Legal, Privacy, and Business Leaders, and ensures secure, responsible AI innovation at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership, required.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years cloud security configuration (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• CISSP is required upon hire; CSSLP and CCSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and roadmap.
• Lead AI security risk management, model governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization, including hiring and budgeting.
• Collaborate with executives and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
