Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors in Denver seeks a senior AI governance professional to supervise responsible AI adoption across asset management, ensuring strong governance and regulatory alignment.

You will own AI risk governance, translate requirements into policies, supervise monitoring, and collaborate with Data Privacy, CISO and Technology to balance innovation with controls.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of AI regulation and governance frameworks
• Proven experience owning or operating enterprise policy, governance and risk frameworks, ideally relating to AI, technology, data or model risk
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory landscape for AI rule-making developments and interpret implications across the business
• Translate regulatory requirements into policies, guardrails and automated controls
• Own AI risk appetite and risk framework including risk tiering for approvals
• Establish monitoring capabilities supported by technology solutions
• Establish ethical AI and agentic/autonomous conduct standards
• Provide advice and governance requirements arising from laws, regs, standards or policies
• Ensure AI risk management integrates with broader risk management policies
• Chair the governance body and oversee AI risk initiatives
• Carry out other duties as assigned
