Job summary

Huntington Bank seeks an AI Risk and Governance Manager to provide independent oversight of enterprise AI activities, focusing on generative and agentic AI. You will partner with risk, compliance, privacy, and IT to ensure governance aligns with policy, regulatory expectations, and responsible AI principles.

The role reports to the AI Risk and Digital Assets Risk Director and emphasizes risk assessment, monitoring, and escalation across the AI lifecycle with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years applying risk management to AI or tech-enabled processes.
• Experience providing independent oversight and challenge with cross-functional partners.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent Second Line of Defense oversight of enterprise AI governance activities.
• Assess alignment of first-line AI governance with risk appetite and policy.
• Support governance for AI agents and agentic AI, including autonomy and tool access.
• Establish oversight for material AI system changes and reassessment requirements.
• Monitor emerging AI risks and translate developments into actionable oversight insights.
