Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• End-to-end delivery: taking software from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud tech.
• Applied AI experience with large language models, retrieval, or AI patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership: telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, recovery.
• User-centered practice: work with users, designers, and product leaders to improve decisions.
• Engineering craft: clear specifications, maintainable code, thoughtful review, sound trade-offs.
• This role requires up to 50% travel and hybrid office attendance.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user: work with users and domain experts to understand workflows and AI value.
• Test assumptions quickly: turn hypotheses into prototypes and small releases for evidence.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and enterprise integrations.
• Shape AI behavior: design instructions, context, retrieval, outputs, and tool use.
• Build the evidence system: create representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Connect outcomes to behavior: instrument journeys to relate adoption to system performance.
• Engineer for responsible use: clear permissions, data handling, safeguards, graceful degradation, rollback.
• Own production quality: release incrementally, monitor, respond to incidents, improve.
• Make practical trade-offs: balance experience, quality, speed, reliability, cost.
• Contribute reusable patterns: share components and evaluation assets with platform teams.
