Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced engineer to turn emerging AI capabilities into durable products. You’ll be an end-to-end builder, close to users, decision-making, and production code, delivering coherent verticals across experiences, services, data, and AI behavior.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• End-to-end delivery: taking software from concept through launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience with large language models, retrieval, or AI patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership: telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response.
• User-centered practice with direct user engagement and product leadership.
• Engineering craft: clear specs, maintainable code, thoughtful reviews, sound trade-offs.
• This role requires up to 50% travel and hybrid office attendance.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user by working with users and domain experts to understand workflows.
• Test assumptions quickly with prototypes and small releases to gain evidence.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with design, context, retrieval, outputs, and tool use.
• Build an evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Connect outcomes to behavior by instrumenting journeys and measuring adoption.
• Engineer for responsible use with data handling, permissions, and fail-safes.
• Own production quality by releasing incrementally and monitoring live behavior.
• Make practical trade-offs balancing experience, quality, speed, reliability, cost.
• Contribute reusable patterns and evaluation assets to the platform.
