Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced engineer to turn emerging AI capabilities into durable products. You’ll work end-to-end, close to users and production code, linking from initial conversations to secure services in a hybrid environment with up to 50% travel.

You will own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and enterprise integrations, balancing speed, reliability, and cost while ensuring accessibility and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• End-to-end delivery from concept through launch, learning and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience building products with LLMs, retrieval, tools, or AI patterns.
• Experience designing automated tests and behavioral evaluation.
• Telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, recovery responsibilities.
• User-centered collaboration with users, designers, and product leaders.
• Clear specs, maintainable code, thoughtful reviews, and trade-offs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid office.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user and work with domain experts to map real workflows.
• Turn product hypotheses into concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with instructions, context, retrieval, and tooling.
• Build an evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Instrument journeys to relate adoption and outcomes to system behavior and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use with data handling, permissions, and rollback.
• Own production quality with incremental releases and incident response.
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between experience, quality, speed, reliability, and cost.
• Share reusable components and evaluation assets within the platform.
