Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant and applicable experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• End-to-end delivery: take software from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth: full-stack frontend, backend, API, data and cloud tech.
• Applied AI experience: building products with LLMs, retrieval, tools, or related patterns.
• Evaluation experience: automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership: telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, recovery.
• User-centered practice: work with users, designers and product leaders.
• Engineering craft: clear specs, maintainable code, thoughtful reviews, solid trade-offs.
• Up to 50% travel and hybrid office capability.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user: understand workflows with users and domain experts.
• Test assumptions quickly: prototype and small releases with evidence.
• Own complete product slices: end-to-end across experience, services, data, AI behavior.
• Shape AI behavior: design prompts, context, retrieval, tool use.
• Build the evidence system: automated evaluations showing usefulness, safety, accessibility.
• Connect outcomes to behavior: instrument journeys to relate adoption to system metrics.
• Engineer for responsible use: clear permissions, secure data handling, rollback.
• Own production quality: release incrementally, monitor, recover from incidents.
• Make practical trade-offs: balance experience, quality, speed, cost.
• Contribute reusable patterns: share components while ensuring performance.
