Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Solutions Architect for its MENA team, a trusted advisor guiding customers through GitLab's DevSecOps platform across the software lifecycle. You will partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to drive technical evaluations, design architectures, and champion value-driven adoption.

You'll engage in proof-of-value initiatives, run workshops, and shape solutions while maintaining strong customer empathy and technical clarity for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with end-to-end SDLC including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations and design workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform across full lifecycle.
• Own the technical evaluations: design, PoC/PoV ownership, workshop design, and value-based tenders.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to shape account strategies for new and expanding customers.
• Build relationships with practitioners and leaders to enable platform adoption and advocacy.
• Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
• Serve as voice of the customer to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies and create reusable collateral.
