Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to partner with cross-functional teams and develop on-demand training for Legal AI SaaS products. The role emphasizes adult learning, instructional design, multimedia development, and AI-assisted content creation with Claude.

You'll craft scripts, guides, and interactive modules while ensuring brand consistency and accessibility for customer audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field or 5 years of Learning Experience Design/Instructional Design
• Strong grounding in adult learning theory and instructional design best practices
• Experience designing for external, customer-facing audiences with marketing polish and instructional rigor
• Expertise with Camtasia,Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate; WellSaid, HTML and website management tools
• Knowledge of LMS and content management systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams/SharePoint)
• Strong graphic design principles and ability to create modern, visually polished content
• Excellent written and verbal communication for instructional content
• Video creation/editing experience
• Creative thinker, adaptable and detail-oriented
• Proven project management skills

Responsibilities

• Drive creation of eLearning experiences for Legal AI SaaS products
• Manage projects from kickoff to delivery with stakeholders and vendors
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design content including scripts and guides
• Leverage Claude AI to streamline content development and build interactive elements
• Apply graphic design principles to ensure on-brand materials
• Use LMS and authoring tools to create effective learning experiences
• Stay current on eLearning innovations and customer education
• Maintain up-to-date training content for Legal products
• Monitor content effectiveness and update as needed
