Job summary

Thomson Reuters in the United States is seeking a Principal Technical Trainer to join our global team. You will co-create a training program and deliver expert training to customers and partners, empowering them to harness CoCounsel Legal and other products across legal workflows.

You will collaborate with curriculum designers to create content in formats including instructor-led workshops, on-demand and eLearning courses, videos, and certification exams; stay current on AI in legal practice;

Qualifications

Requires JD with bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
Experience with legal tech and/or AI-based platforms (CoCounsel Legal, Westlaw, Practical Law, Legal Tracker, HighQ).
Experience delivering live and virtual training to groups from ~10 to 50+ participants.
Ability to design and facilitate practical hands-on learning activities that drive adoption.
Strong written and verbal communication; customer-centric and impactful training delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead product training focusing on CoCounsel Legal; train on Legal Tracker, HighQ, Westlaw, Practical Law as needed.
Deliver multi-client workshops and dedicated sessions onsite or virtually.
Identify training needs and delivery methods with stakeholders and customers.
Synthesize content from colleagues/external experts to drive AI-first training and CoCounsel expertise.
Maintain training assets and collect learner feedback to drive curriculum improvement.
