Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Specialist to develop K-12 assessments for state and district clients within the Content Development team. You will work as a content and assessment expert, leveraging AI to enhance items, passages and test forms across grade levels.

Responsibilities include item development, collaboration with educators, and customer-facing support while staying current with AI technologies in education. Compensation and benefits are provided per Pearson policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent experience required.
• Five years’ teaching experience preferred in elementary/secondary content area.
• Excellence in AI-supported content development or strong potential to leverage AI in content creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review content-specific test items across grade levels.
• Develop item, passage, and test specifications and blueprints.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to support assessment content and accessibility standards.
