Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on developer to design, build, and deploy internal applications and automation across ERP, PLM, HR, and engineering platforms. You will work with AI coding agents, collaborate with business owners, and ensure secure, well-documented solutions that scale with the company.

You will join a team delivering from requirements, with opportunities to train end users and improve processes across multiple business lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
• Minimum 3 years building and supporting business applications, integrations, or automation solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript and ability to read code you did not write.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy internal applications and automation solutions from requirements to production release.
• Use AI coding agents as primary tool while ensuring code correctness, security, and documentation.
• Build and maintain integrations between ERP, PLM, HR, engineering, and SaaS platforms using APIs and data flows.
• Provide post-deployment support and training for end users and stakeholders.
