Job summary

Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Sales, and B2B Marketing; emphasis on safeguards and measurable results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software, backend, or applied AI experience building reliable production systems.
• Experience building AI agents or model-driven workflows on real production traffic.
• Ability to diagnose and improve agent behavior from traces and feedback.
• Experience with evaluation design, regression testing, online signals, or controlled experiments.
• Strong backend skills in Python, APIs, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the production improvement loop across agent behavior and evaluation results.
• Instrument agent workflows to capture model interactions, tool use, and outcomes.
• Define quality standards, evaluation datasets, and production monitoring.
• Investigate why agents underperform across context, tools, or workflows.
• Design and ship targeted behavior improvements to prompting and decision logic.
• Build backend services, data models, and feedback pipelines for observability.
• Run controlled experiments or staged rollouts to measure impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing to prioritize problems.
• Ensure safeguards for privacy, security, and safe rollout.
