Job summary

Matrix IT Ltd in the New York area seeks a Lead AI Enablement Engineer to drive AI-assisted engineering across product teams. This hands-on role partners with the Platform Lead to improve developer productivity, software quality, and delivery efficiency through practical AI enablement.

You will build reusable AI patterns, design sandboxed agent execution environments, and integrate AI workflows into the software delivery lifecycle while upholding security, governance, and measurable engineering

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with AI enablement preferred.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, agentic development workflows, and LLM-powered tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, security, and governance in production SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and scale AI-first engineering workflows across the SDLC.
• Develop reusable agent instructions, prompts, skills, and reference implementations.
• Evaluate and integrate AI coding tools and frameworks for productivity.
• Collaborate with Platform team to integrate AI workflows with CI/CD and sandboxes.
• Design validation loops and governance for AI-generated code and outputs.
