McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking a Business Analyst in Los Angeles to support legal teams and business operations. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements for tools and processes, leveraging AI-powered platforms to accelerate documentation and process narratives.

You will collaborate with IT, measure usability, manage stakeholder expectations, and present prototypes to attorneys and business stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five (5) years of related work experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted prototyping and diagramming tools (Claude including Claude Design and Claude Cowork); familiarity with traditional wire-framing applications (Figma, Miro).
• Experience with AI-assisted productivity and requirements tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and ability to validate AI-generated output against accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, with ability to guide stakeholders through ideas, open questions, and prototypes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, including experience managing requirements, backlogs, and sprint deliverables in an Agile environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; ability to learn quickly; flexible hours; independent initiative.

Responsabilités

• Gather, document, and prioritize business stakeholder requirements in various formats.
• Collaborate with IT SMEs to identify options, conduct sizing & resource estimates, and generate project schedules.
• Measure and report on effectiveness and usability of solutions using data and stakeholder input.
• Facilitate and manage business requests, setting stakeholder expectations.
• Assist project stakeholders in communication, training or change management.
• Analyze project progress and present outcomes to management.
• Use AI tools to draft and accelerate requirements documentation, user stories, and process narratives, validating AI output for accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with AI-powered tools, in collaboration with the AI Products team.
• Use Claude Cowork/Claude Design or similar platforms to research requirements, diagram workflows, and prototype solutions.
• Present findings and prototypes clearly to attorneys and business stakeholders.
