Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive production AI capabilities across construction, procurement, and operations. You will lead architecture, implement scalable AI solutions, and partner with security and business teams to deliver governed, observable outcomes.

As a senior individual contributor, you will shape enterprise AI patterns, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure alignment with Prologis’s global logistics real estate portfolio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in relevant technical delivery roles.
• Experience designing AI-assisted workflows or agentic systems for business use cases.
• Translate ambiguous workflows into structured, governed solutions.
• Lead discovery, workflow mapping and rollout with users or domain teams.
• Apply context engineering, RAG, semantic layers, tool calling, and orchestration.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating APIs and enterprise systems.
• Clear communication of decisions and risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production AI platform capabilities (agents, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, orchestration).
• Build an AI-native knowledge platform linking models, assets, documents, telemetry, and context.
• Develop multimodal data pipelines from BIM, Autodesk, geospatial, and documents into structured knowledge.
• Deliver AI workflows across design, construction, commissioning, operations, and sustainment.
• Move prototypes to production with governance, docs, evaluation and observability.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns to scale pilots into enterprise capabilities.
• Collaborate with business, tech, security, and operations teams to define workflows and rollout plans.
