Job summary

Prologis seeks a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to shape AI-enabled transformations across its business domains. You will own multi-workstream deployments, advance production-grade AI capabilities and mentor senior engineers, delivering measurable business outcomes with strong technical leadership.

You will collaborate with AI Product, engineering, security and governance teams to establish production readiness and durable ownership while driving reusable patterns and reference architectures

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of hands-on software engineering or AI delivery experience.
• Proven success leading complex deployments from discovery to production.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to redesign end-to-end processes with AI.
• Strong coding and architecture skills across Python, APIs, data platforms and cloud tech.
• Deep practical experience with LLM apps, agentic systems, retrieval, tool integration, guardrails and observability.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, data integration, identity, security and data protection.
• Ability to lead technical delivery without formal authority and influence across teams.
• Translate strategy into executable technical work with strong product judgment.
• Create reusable engineering patterns, assets, standards and playbooks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive delivery updates.
• Capable of quickly gaining domain context to guide delivery tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Build fluency in an anchor domain and lead a portfolio of deployments across workstreams.
• Ensure each deployment has outcomes, sponsorship, architecture and ownership plans.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify high-value opportunities and define success criteria.
• Design workflows that combine AI agents, software and human judgment effectively.
• Architect, build, test and productionize AI applications and integrations.
• Set technical direction for FDE deployments and mentor senior engineers.
• Balance value, quality, security, speed, cost and maintainability in delivery.
• Define tests, observability, security, privacy and governance into solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for alignment and risk management.
• Ensure durable ownership and smooth handoff after deployment.
