Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Senior AI Applied Engineer to design and run experiential pilots, evaluate results, and translate learnings into scalable reference architectures. You will partner with AI platform and delivery teams to operationalize successful approaches, showcasing business impact through demos.

You’ll work within the AWS ecosystem, emphasizing security, observability, and cost awareness. You will contribute to agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and text-to-SQL

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-quality systems.
• Expert Python skills with clean architecture, testing, packaging, performance and reliability.
• Strong AWS architecture and development experience (security/IAM, networking, serverless/containers, monitoring/logging, cost controls).
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, text-to-SQL patterns and data integrations.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI innovation and rapid experimentation to advance Prologis capabilities.
• Design and execute timeboxed pilots with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and kill/scale decisions.
• Enhance enterprise AI patterns and standards (RAG, text-to-SQL, evaluation, observability).
• Build reference implementations and handoffs to scale experiments in partnership with the Central AI team.
