Job summary

Prologis, a global leader in logistics real estate, seeks a Lead AI Engineer to build an AI platform turning enterprise data into actionable knowledge across construction, procurement, and operations. You will shape architecture, implement production AI capabilities, and partner with business, security, and operations teams to deliver governed AI solutions across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or related delivery roles.
• Experience designing and deploying AI-assisted workflows or agentic systems.
• Ability to map ambiguous workflows to structured, governed solutions.
• Experience leading discovery, scoping, rollout, and post-launch iteration.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production AI platform capabilities including agents, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, workflow orchestration, evaluation, and human review.
• Build an AI-native building knowledge platform linking models, assets, documents, telemetry, and context.
• Develop multimodal data pipelines converting BIM, Autodesk, geospatial, documents, and operations data into structured knowledge.
• Deliver AI workflows supporting design, construction, commissioning, operations, sustainment, and reinvestment use cases.
• Move prototypes to pilot and production with governance, documentation, evaluation, observability, and readiness.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns to scale pilots into enterprise platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with business, technology, security, and operations teams on workflows and rollout plans.
