The role requires 8+ years in business development with a proven track record in complex negotiations and a passion for AI partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of work experience in business development with demonstrated experience leading complex deals.
• Experience managing AI partnerships and/or a passion for the space.
• Strategic, driven, and analytical with a passion for consumer technology.
• Comfort in navigating the evolving technology landscape and leading through ambiguity.
• Experienced in performing broad quantitative analysis and negotiating complex deals.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional senior executives in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead partner strategy, business development, and partner management for AI at Pinterest.
• Actively monitor, synthesize, inform, and action the industry landscape to identify opportunities.
• Lead the process of identifying partnerships to pursue, including building the business case through strategic/financial analysis and due diligence.
• Negotiate complex deals.
• Build relationships with leaders at emerging and established companies in the AI space.
• Coordinate deal execution and partner management across relevant teams including product, engineering, legal, and marketing.
