Job summary

RxSense is an AI-native healthcare tech company hiring an architect-level engineer to lead the AI engineering team. You will design and build production systems across C#/.NET, Python, and TypeScript, and lead the development of AI evaluation infrastructure, offline and online, with a focus on correctness and performance in a regulated domain.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering experience with staff/principal/architect-level scope
Depth across backend and AI/ML systems (C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript)
Experience with LLM observability, prompt evaluation, or agentic system testing
Track record of setting technical standards adopted by teams
Strong communication skills to align engineers and leadership
Comfort in AI-forward environment with agentic tools like Claude Code
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities

Architect and build production systems across a multi-language stack: C#/.NET, Python AI/data pipelines, TypeScript as needed
Set high technical standards across the engineering org, leading through craft
Design offline evaluation frameworks (test suites, golden datasets, CI/CD integration) for LLMs and non-deterministic components
Build online evaluation/monitoring to continuously assess live model and system behavior in production
Surface systemic AI risks with leadership and drive fixes for reliability, correctness, and drift
Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives and mentor senior staff on system design and evaluation
