Job summary

RxSense LLC in the United States is seeking a Director of Data and Platform Architecture to own the full data architecture end to end, from ingestion through ETL to dashboards. This is a hands-on leadership role with immediate reports and ongoing code contributions.

You will design the platform underlying AI engineering, set standards for data pipelines and reliability, mentor engineers, and partner with AI leadership to align investments with product and research priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years architecting and building production platforms.
• Hands-on data architecture across ingestion, ETL, and reporting.
• Hands-on DevOps experience; you build, deploy and operate systems.
• Proven ability to ship production code.
• Experience with modern data stack (Spark, NoSQL, data warehousing) with PHI/PII handling.

Responsibilities

• Own data architecture end to end from data landing through ETL and dashboards.
• Own devops and infrastructure for the AI team end to end.
• Set technical direction for data infrastructure, pipelines, and platform reliability.
• Design extract and reporting layers for accurate, timely analytics.
• Build and deploy the systems you design; ensure production-grade reliability.
• Write and ship code yourself.
• Lead the data and platform team as it grows, including hiring.
• Mentor engineers on architecture and data design.
• Communicate tradeoffs clearly to engineers and leadership.
• Partner with AI leadership to align platform investments with product priorities.
• Translate business priorities into data strategy decisions.
• Collaborate across teams to align platform decisions with product and research priorities.
