Job summary

Fireworks AI, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager, AI Native to lead a team selling to GenAI-native startups. You will coach AI Native Account Executives, drive new business and expansion while shaping repeatable playbooks for production-scale revenue.

The role demands technical credibility, data-driven coaching, and collaboration with GTM, Product, Applied ML, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate value realization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales or business development selling to technical buyers.
• Experience managing or coaching quota-carrying AEs.
• Proven ability to win and grow accounts in technical, infrastructure, AI, or developer markets.
• Strong coaching skills around discovery, POC, evaluation, negotiation, and exec communication.
• Ability to thrive in early-stage or high-growth environments with evolving playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of AI Native Account Executives selling into GenAI-native startups.
• Own team performance against new logo, consumption growth, pipeline, and forecast goals.
• Build and refine the AI Native sales motion from initial conversation to production-scale value.
• Coach AEs to lead credible technical conversations with founders, ML engineers, and infra leads.
• Partner with GTM engineering, product, and applied AI to accelerate adoption and value.
• Collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, and RevOps on target accounts and funnel.
• Establish operating rhythms: pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and forecast inspection.
• Hire and ramp new AEs as the team scales.
• Represent Fireworks in GenAI ecosystems through demos, meetups, and communities.
• Foster accountability, curiosity, technical depth, and continuous improvement.
