Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Build team, turning AI-born prototypes into production-grade enterprise services across Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance.

You will evaluate AI-generated prototypes, build backend and full-stack services with SSO, audit logging, secrets management, and CI/CD, while leveraging AI agents for initial assessment, porting, and test generation in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, IaC, CI/CD, and serverless architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native development and agentic tooling.
• Strong ability to extract core workflow requirements and scope projects clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal AI-generated prototypes and decide what to harden, rebuild, or redirect.
• Build and ship backend and full-stack services meeting enterprise standards for SSO, audit logging, secrets management, security compliance, and CI/CD.
• Use AI coding agents for first-pass assessment, porting, and test generation; develop MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills as production artifacts.
• Collaborate with non-technical business partners to translate workflows into enterprise software.
• Deliver operational artifacts including runbooks, evals, tracing dashboards, and performance monitors.
• Partner with Enterprise Platforms to convert repeating solutions into reusable platform capabilities.
