Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to lead the design, build, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments for Power & Utilities clients. You will guide teams, collaborate with clients, and translate data science outputs into strategic business insights.

You will work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment with heavy client interaction, mentoring, and driving innovation while ensuring regulatory and governance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
• 2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Strong Python skills and ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate with diverse teams.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Proficient in Generative AI models and ML frameworks; experience with NLP and deep learning.
• Experience with DevOps tools, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams, manage processes and projects.
• Innovate through research and analysis to improve processes.
• Oversee professional staff and supervise teams delivering complex initiatives.
• Engage with clients, lead sessions, and drive workstreams from planning to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
• Design and deliver AI/ML use cases for Power & Utilities and translate outputs into business insights.
• Collaborate with utility data sources and move AI solutions from pilots to production with governance.
