Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in AI Native Engineering to lead data science initiatives for Power & Utilities clients. You will oversee multi‑disciplinary teams, deliver cutting‑edge AI/ML solutions, and ensure regulatory compliance while engaging with clients globally.

You will work across cloud/on‑prem environments, scale analytics, and translate complex findings into actionable business insights for executives and regulators. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).
• 6–10 years of AI/Data Science/Machine Learning experience.
• 2–4 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Proficient in Generative AI models and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Dall‑e, Langchain, RAG).
• Experience with ML packages like scikit‑learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with NLP and deep learning.
• Extensive experience with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps), Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MLOps, data ingestion, transformation, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Strong data modelling, SQL, Pandas, Spark knowledge.
• Excellent communication and travel willingness.
• Industry experience in regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams delivering innovative AI/ML data solutions for clients.
• Guide teams to design scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Engage with clients and manage project delivery and economics.
• Translate AI outputs into business insights for executives and regulators.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across global offices.
• Move AI solutions from pilots to production while meeting governance requirements.
• Translate regulated priorities into scalable AI outcomes.
