Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Physical Design Engineer to lead efforts in addressing complex physical design challenges and developing RTL-to-GDS methodologies. The role emphasizes AI/ML-driven solutions and involves collaboration with teams and EDA vendors. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of experience in physical design. This hybrid position is based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, or Fort Collins, CO, with a compensation range from $100k to $500k.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Physical Design CAD methodology at advanced nodes.
• Proven track record improving PPA and/or runtime on high-performance, low-power designs.
• Hands-on with industry-standard EDA tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional efforts to solve physical design challenges.
• Develop and enhance RTL-to-GDS methodologies.
• Architect and deploy AI/ML-driven solutions in production flows.
• Optimize EDA tools and custom CAD flows.
