Job summary

C3 AI is seeking an Industry Solution Leader for Power and Utilities to drive enterprise AI solutions for power generation and battery storage optimization. You will own solution strategy, engage with client executives, and lead cross-functional teams through design, deployment, validation, and scale.

The role requires deep domain expertise in asset-intensive industries, hands-on experience with power-generation assets, and the ability to translate complex engineering problems into AI-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, industrial technology, or technically focused consulting.
• Demonstrated experience solving complex operational problems and improving equipment reliability, production performance, or energy efficiency.
• Experience with industrial data including sensor/time-series data, alarms, maintenance history, and production data.
• Experience with industrial systems such as SCADA, DCS, MES, EAM/CMMS, ERP, or industrial analytics platforms.
• Experience leading complex, customer-facing technical engagements with engineers, operators, and executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate domain requirements into AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for customer engagements.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert.
• Identify and quantify high-impact opportunities across reliability, throughput, energy efficiency, and operating economics.
• Translate engineering challenges into AI/ML/software problems with defined requirements and value.
• Lead engagements from use case definition to production deployment and scale.
• Guide cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with product teams to scale successful solutions across assets and facilities.
