Job summary

MetLife’s Global Technology team is shaping the future of digital solutions for customers worldwide. You will lead AI-first delivery for complex Sales Tech workstreams, coaching teams and coordinating with Product Owners, Engineering, and QA to optimize value delivery.

The Sr. Scrum Leader role emphasizes planning, transparency, and rapid, disciplined execution across onshore/offshore teams, with a hybrid work model and strong emphasis on collaboration and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS, IT, engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of Agile technology delivery experience.
• Extensive experience leading teams and delivery in complex environments.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving, matrixed environments.
• Experience as Scrum Lead/Scrum Master or similar role for moderate-to-high complexity workstreams.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile execution for multiple Scrum or Kanban teams in high-complexity Sales Technology workstreams.
• Embed AI-assisted practices into planning, backlog readiness, requirements analysis, and release readiness.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily collaboration, backlog refinement, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams, POs, engineers, QA, and vendors on flow optimization and Definition of Ready/Done.
• Drive transparency into delivery flow with metrics, risk tracking, and readiness signals.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and release coordination across domains and partners.
