Job summary

Exa, based in San Francisco, is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build activation programs for developers and enterprise buyers. You’ll own self-serve activation, enterprise nurture, segmentation, email quality, webinars, and AI-powered automation to reduce manual work.

This AI-first role focuses on turning signups into activated users and pipeline-ready opportunities, with cross-functional collaboration across PMM, DevRel, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer journey from signup to first successful API call, early repeat usage, and an activation threshold.
• Build product-triggered messaging, onboarding sequences, and interventions that recover stalled new users.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on onboarding while owning lifecycle programs.
• Success is measured by signup-to-first-call conversion, early repeat usage, and activation thresholds.
