Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Director of Software Engineering in Atlanta, GA. Hybrid schedule with a hands-on leadership role overseeing enrollment, incentives, reporting, contracting, rate configuration, and RBAC platforms for dealers and OEM partners.

You will guide architectural decisions, drive AI-native development using Claude/Cursor tools, and partner with business stakeholders to align delivery with company priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience managing a team of ~20 engineers including contractors.
• Track record delivering client-facing, B2B SaaS platforms in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~20 engineers across enrollment, incentives, reporting, contracting, and rate configuration platforms.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and retention; build a progression path for technical and leadership growth.
• Define the engineering roadmap and drive architecture strategy across platforms (Angular, NestJS, AWS).
• Establish RBAC strategy and secure access controls for dealer/OEM users.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements into roadmaps.
• Drive reliability, performance, security, and incident response.
