Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead delivery across enrollment, incentives, reporting, contracting, rate configuration, and RBAC platforms. You will mentor ~20 engineers, influence architecture, and drive AI-native development in a fast-paced, client-facing SaaS environment.

You will partner with Product, Operations, and Legal to ensure compliant, scalable systems for dealer networks and OEM partners, while shaping a high-performing,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience delivering client-facing B2B SaaS platforms.
• Automotive F&I or insurance domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers across platforms.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and retention; build career progression.
• Define architecture strategy across Angular, NestJS, AWS and RBAC.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and legal/compliance teams.
• Champion AI-native development and reliable, secure delivery.
