Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst in Atlanta for a hybrid onsite role. You will serve as a technical escalation point, diagnose complex issues, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to keep enterprise applications running smoothly.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, improving knowledge management, and using AI-assisted tools to accelerate diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in application support.
• Solid understanding of enterprise software applications, system architecture and integration patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL databases, including writing and troubleshooting complex queries.
• Familiarity with AI and automation tools in application support (AI copilots, log analysis, etc.).
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience in a customer support or technical support role is required.
• Certifications in ITIL or AI/automation tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical escalation point for complex application issues, performing root cause analysis and driving resolutions with development and infrastructure teams.
• Share knowledge and troubleshooting practices with junior and mid-level analysts.
• Collaborate with development and product teams on system design from a support perspective.
• Document incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and prepare stakeholder summaries.
• Maintain and improve ticketing, escalation, and knowledge-management processes.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to speed diagnostics and improve support quality.
• Develop runbooks and troubleshooting guides leveraging AI documentation tools.
• Test and validate new software releases, patches, and updates before deployment.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and identify automation opportunities.
