Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering with experience in insurance (P&C) data platforms and solutions.
• Solid understanding of property & casualty insurance operations including underwriting, claims, and pricing.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
• Experience implementing AI-first strategies and working with modern data platforms (Snowflake; Databricks; big data analytics).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of AI-powered data products addressing goals in underwriting, claims, risk management, and customer experience within P&C insurance.
• Define, develop, and register curated data products for auto, home, agriculture, commercial, and specialty lines to enable rapid insights.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, actuaries, underwriters, claims specialists, and leaders to deliver scalable, compliant data solutions.
• Establish best practices for data engineering in P&C, ensuring data quality, governance, and privacy standards.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
