Zusammenfassung

EY Challenger is seeking a senior UX designer to shape how people interact with AI. You will design interaction patterns, run usability studies, and build production-ready components for web and app surfaces, translating insights into intuitive experiences.

Working across product, engineering, AI, security, and research, you’ll ensure trustworthy, transparent AI experiences. The role requires up to 50% travel and a hybrid in-office schedule in the US.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Portfolio of shipped interaction design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or HCI work showing both thinking and implementation.
• Production proficiency in modern web or application technologies.
• Experience designing for AI, search, recommendations or adaptive systems.
• Semantic UI, WCAG, WAI-ARIA, keyboard interaction, accessibility testing.

Aufgaben

• Define experience principles, interaction architecture, and reusable patterns for AI-assisted products.
• Conduct workflow research and usability testing with diverse users, including assistive technologies.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes and accessible production components for web, app, conversational, or multimodal surfaces.
• Translate user intent into interaction specifications for clarity, uncertainty, memory, personalization, permissions, and action boundaries.
• Make plans, progress, evidence, tool activity, costs, and outcomes legible without overwhelming users.
• Design controls for preview, approval, interruption, edit, undo, retry, escalation, and human takeover.
• Measure task completion, effort, recovery, and trust calibration; collaborate with AI, platform, security, and evaluation teams.
